These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ScaffApp mobile application and platform (“ScaffApp”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), operated by ScaffApp UK Ltd.

By accessing or using ScaffApp, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Platform

ScaffApp provides a digital platform that connects workers and employers within the construction and related industries.

ScaffApp is not:

  • An employer

  • A contractor

  • A recruitment agency

We do not employ users, arrange contracts, or guarantee work.

All agreements, work arrangements, payments, and responsibilities are strictly between users.

2. User Responsibilities

By using ScaffApp, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information

  • Only accept work you are qualified and legally permitted to perform

  • Comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations

  • Ensure appropriate insurance, certifications, and safety compliance

You are solely responsible for:

  • Your conduct on-site

  • Any agreements made with other users

  • Payment arrangements and disputes

3. Accounts

To use ScaffApp, you must create an account.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account

  • All activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Provide false information

  • Misuse the platform

  • Violate these Terms

4. Platform Role & Disclaimer

ScaffApp acts only as a connection platform.

We do not:

  • Vet or guarantee users

  • Guarantee availability of work or workers

  • Guarantee quality, safety, or legality of any job

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScaffApp is not liable for:

  • Injuries or accidents

  • Financial loss

  • Disputes between users

  • Work quality or outcomes

5. Payments Between Users

ScaffApp does not process or manage payments between users unless explicitly stated.

All payments for work are agreed and handled directly between users.

We are not responsible for:

  • Non-payment

  • Underpayment

  • Disputes

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Subscription Plans
ScaffApp offers auto-renewing subscriptions that provide full access to platform features.

  • £9.99 per month

  • £99 per year

Pricing may vary by location and is subject to change.

Payment
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the selected plan price.

Managing & Cancelling Subscriptions
Users can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time through their Apple ID account settings:

Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

Uninstalling the app does not cancel an active subscription.

Free Credits
ScaffApp may provide free credits upon sign-up or promotion. These are non-refundable, hold no cash value, and are separate from subscription services.

Grace Period
If enabled, a grace period may apply when a renewal payment fails. During this time, access may continue temporarily. If payment is not successfully completed, access to subscription features may be restricted.

Refunds
All purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests must be made directly through Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

Changes to Subscriptions
ScaffApp reserves the right to modify subscription pricing or features. Any changes will be communicated in advance where required.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for illegal activities

  • Provide false credentials or qualifications

  • Harass, abuse, or mislead other users

  • Attempt to bypass platform rules or payments

We reserve the right to remove users who violate these rules.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if:

  • You breach these Terms

  • You misuse the platform

  • Your conduct poses risk to others

You may stop using ScaffApp at any time.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology within ScaffApp are owned by ScaffApp UK Ltd.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScaffApp shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Loss of income or business

  • Personal injury or damages arising from user interactions

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
